What Must I Do To Be Saved?

Salvation is only available through Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 (NIV) "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

Salvation is a free gift to all who will believe in Jesus Christ and follow Him.

Salvation is for today. 2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV) "For He says, 'In the time of My favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.' I tell you, now is the time of God's favour, now is the day of salvation."

God tells us clearly what we must do to receive salvation in Romans 10:9-10 (NIV) "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Receiving it is as simple as saying, "Jesus, I acknowledge my sin and Your payment for it on the cross. I now ask You to forgive me and to be my Lord and Saviour."
