The Truth About God

The truth is that God really does exist. God has always existed and will always exist. God calls Himself, "I AM", meaning that He always is. Exodus 3:14 (NIV) "God said to Moses, "I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: '"I AM has sent me to you.'"

The whole universe tells us about God and we have no excuse for not believing that He exists. Romans 1:20 (NIV) "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

God never changes. He is always the same. In a world that is constantly changing, it is comforting to know that God remains steadfast. Hebrews 13:8 (NIV) "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

He loves YOU. He loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for you upon the cross. John 3:15-17 (The Message) "This is how much God loved the world: He gave His Son, His one and only Son. And this why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending His Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in Him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust Him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to Him.

God has a good plan for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) "'For I know the plans I have for you,'declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
